Just my opinion, but with the exception of the 9/18 Dijon show, I think the entire Europe '74 tour pretty much sucked ass! May through early August is the sweet-spot of the year.

I'm not sure why, but the '74 Winterland run doesnt do that much for me, however I do have to admit that several of the second set jams during the run are pretty compelling.

I enjoyed listening to this new tranfer earlier today, but I'm actually somewhat distracted right now by some 90's shows (believe it or not). Can anyone say wether or not this new transfer is actually any better than the Charlie Miller remasters that moved through this past November?

90's shows? are you sure you're feeling ok CH??

totally agree about Euro '74 too...there are a few unique jams, but aside from the 9/18 show you mentioned i also think it mostly blows donkey dick!
